Safe Sitter Classes
Safe Sitter Classes (grades 6-8)
If you would like your child(ren) to learn safety skills, child care skills, choking rescue, CPR, first aid, and business & life skills, Safe Sitter is the perfect class for them! This one-day class is open to any child in grades 6-8 and prepares them to babysit, care for siblings/relatives, and/or stay home on their own for short periods of time.
2025 Quarter One Class Dates:
Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9 am – 4 pm (this class is full)
Monday, February 17, 2025 from 9 am – 4 pm (President’s Day)
Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9 am – 4 pm
Critical Course Information:
- The cost is $39 per student and there are no refunds or changes after a ticket is purchased.
- All classes are held at Station 71 (902 7th St NW, Puyallup, WA).
- The class begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. Students must complete the entire class.
- Class space is limited to 16 students (the waitlist caps at 4 students). If there is no waitlist button available on the Eventbrite page, that class no longer has room on the waitlist. Please select another date.
- While the basics of CPR/First Aid are taught during this class, students do not receive an AHA or Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification.
