Safe Sitter Classes
Safe Sitter Classes (grades 6-8)
Important note for 2024: Due to factors such as the start of school, availability of personnel, the schedule of other safety classes, and the holiday season, there will be no more Safe Sitter classes in 2024. A huge congratulations to the 150+ students who completed this course in 2024 with us!
We will host more classes in 2025, and this page will be updated when those become available.
If you would like your child(ren) to learn safety skills, child care skills, choking rescue, CPR, first aid, and business & life skills, Safe Sitter is the perfect class for them! This one-day class is open to any child in grades 6-8 and prepares them to babysit, care for siblings/relatives, and/or stay home on their own for short periods of time.
The cost is $37 per child, and all classes are held at Station 71 (902 7th St NW, Puyallup, WA). The class begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. If you have child(ren) in grades 6-8 and would like to sign him/her up for a Safe Sitter course, bookmark this page! Class space is limited to 16 students and the waitlist caps at 4 students.
