To apply for the Thanksgiving box, clients are asked to fill out an application in-person at the Food Pantry from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted starting October 1st, 2024 and end November 15th, 2024. Please bring a piece of mail with your home address and photo identification.

To apply for the Christmas box, clients are asked to fill out an application in-person at the Food Pantry on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted starting October 4th, 2024 and end November 15th, 2024. Or you can apply online at SAAngeltree.org Please bring a piece of mail with your home address and photo identification.

Additional Information: Salvation Army is offering gifts for children 12 and under and seniors 65 and older. Bring birth certificates for children and ID for seniors. Bring a piece of mail with your home address and photo ID. To apply, you can place an application in person at the food bank or online at SAAngeltree.org. If you want to apply in person, you can do so on October 11th, 18th, and 25th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For those that apply in person, they will be asked to come on December 16th to shop at Salvation Army. Those who put in online applications can shop on December 16th on-site.

Additional Information: You can to schedule an appointment by visiting their website, https://www.pfb.org/get-help, or call 253-848-5240. They will provide enough food for each member of your household for three days. Participants are required to schedule appointments 30 days apart. Additionally, they have some non-food items to offer when available. You must have a vehicle to participate.

All Saints Delivery Food Bank

To qualify for food assistance, call the Community Services Office at 253-848-2000, Monday through Thursday before 11 am. Deliveries are available once every 30 days.

All customers will be asked to voluntarily provide their name, the number of people in the household needing food, their address, and the dates of birth of all household members. This information is for NORISH use only. Information such as age, zip code, and ethnicity are collected for statistical purposes only in compliance with government funders. No personal information is ever shared. No documentation is required and no one will be turned away. NORISH provides meals for three days for each family member. Participants can come once a week.

Additional Information: They are currently offering a vehicle drive-through line to distribute a prepackaged box of food. You will need to provide photo identification to register at your first visit. You will not be asked to prove your need or residency.

Additional Information: The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) pays heating bills directly to utility companies for eligible applicants living outside the city limits of Tacoma. Payments are based on eligible household’s fuel usage for the past 12 months and income. If your power is off call 253-798-3590, leave a message and staff will call you back to make an appointment.
