Last week, our Technical Rescue Team trained alongside the Washington National Guard, strengthening the partnership and specialized skills needed to respond to complex rescue emergencies. By working together in realistic scenarios, both agencies improve their ability to safely reach and rescue patients in remote locations, difficult terrain, and areas with limited access.
As a reminder, technical rescue helicopter training will continue at Station 60 tomorrow, June 16, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Community members may see and hear increased helicopter activity throughout the day as emergency responders and Washington National Guard personnel conduct planned training operations in the area.
For the safety of flight crews and our team, please do not fly drones near emergency aircraft or training operations. Even a small drone can create a serious hazard and may force training or emergency operations to stop. ... See MoreSee Less

Crews utilized a defensive strategy, attacking the fire from the exterior with handlines and aerial master streams. The outbuilding was destroyed, but the fire was contained and extinguished without any reported injuries.
